This Saturday, it's the 15th Annual Lily Street Block Sale, and it promises to be bigger than ever.
Running the length of Lily Street, (which you should recognize from our recent profile), the event will feature hundreds of items for sale at about a dozen locations. The full list isn't available yet, but last year's included everything from antiques to Christmas items to an entire home audio system. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to Experience Corps Bay Area, an organization that trains older adult volunteers to provide literacy intervention and mentoring to public school kids. That's this Saturday, from 9am to 3pm, on Lily between Buchanan and Franklin. Spread the word!
