Hopefully you were one of the many, many people who flocked to the 6th annual Dogfest in Duboce Park yesterday.
From 11am to 4pm, the park was the site of a celebration of all things canine. The event featured games, food, and a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting McKinley Elementary School. There was also a dog show, with contests like "Best Ears" and "Best Look Alike." Judges included District 8 Supervisor Scott Wiener, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Gos, author Katie Crouch, drummer Nigel Twist, and McKinley principal Michelle Souza.
