Today from 4pm to 8pm, swing by Mad Dog in the Fog (530 Haight) for a beer bust fundraiser. Mad Dog's Jordan Smith is raising money for his upcoming AIDS LifeCycle ride, and he's come up with a pretty great way to do it. For $10 at the door, you get a cup that entitles you to all the beer you can drink, starting with Anchor Steam (which has donated beer for the event), and moving on when that runs out. They'll also be selling jello shots, and accepting additional donations if you're so inclined. All proceeds go to Jordan's LifeCycle team, dubbed Team Boo Boo, which needs to raise $3,000 per person to participate in the ride. So, if you were planning on drinking beer in the sun today anyway, why not get more than your money's worth at Mad Dog, and raise money to fight HIV/AIDS while you're at it?
