One of the baristas at Momi Toby's will be debuting some new artwork at the cafe tonight, and you're invited.
Artist Omer Gal is presenting "Omee Momi Bon Appetit," a collection of new paintings. Originally from Israel, Gal is an SFAI grad who describes his own work as intentionally primitive, featuring "rough edges, presented in a childish, somewhat sloppy manner." Tonight's reception begins at 7:30pm, and will include an unspecified live performance. The show will be on view daily at the cafe at 528 Laguna from 8am to 9pm through July 21.
