Muka is almost ready to make its debut in Hayes Valley.

The dessert/wine bar, currently located at 1345 Bush, announced in March it would be taking over the Blue Muse space at 370 Grove. Jean-Luc Kayigire, the owner of Muka, posted a photo on the restaurant's Facebook page yesterday, revealing that it will be soft-opening this weekend. This Friday and Saturday, starting at 5pm, the space will be welcoming patrons to check out its brand new bar while its dining room remains under construction. A limited menu of wine and dessert will be available. Check out Muka's website for their current menu to get an idea of the available sweets. According to Jean-Luc, expect limited seating, since they’ll only technically be half open. He encourages you to call (415) 345-7027 to make reservations ahead of time. No details on when we can expect a grand opening, but as usual, we'll keep you posted as we know more.
