And now, another edition of everyone's least favorite series, a roundup of recent crimes in and around the Lower Haight.

Around 9:15pm on Sunday night, several readers reported hearing gunshots near Divisadero and Eddy. According to SF Appeal, no one was hit by the gunfire, but police say one bullet broke a window and became lodged in the wall of a home. This sounds eerily similar to an incident a month ago in which a woman was shot by seemingly random gunfire just three blocks south, at Divisadero and McAllister. In both cases, a suspect was seen fleeing in a black sedan.
Multiple readers reported that the doors of Bus Stop Pizza and King Foot Subs on Divisadero were smashed with a brick earlier this month.

Apparently nothing was stolen, and the doors have since been repaired.
On Sunday morning at 2am, a 29-year-old man was mugged near the intersection of Page and Steiner. According to police, two male suspects approached the man from the back and yanked his backpack off him. They then went through his pockets, and fled on foot. No word on whether they were caught.
A reader alerts us to a recent robbery at a residence at Haight and Steiner. "They broke through a window and stole a computer." This was some time between 5:30pm and 7:30pm on a Wednesday.
And finally, on June 9th at 11:30pm, a 23-year-old man was assaulted in a bizarre attack near Haight and Fillmore. The man was approached from behind by a white male in his twenties who proceeded to "hit him several times in the head with a flashlight," according to an SFPD report. The suspect then fled on foot. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening head injuries.
Stay safe, neighbors!
