When the suspect was asked to move from his location he became violent and attacked the man, knocking him to the ground and causing what SFPD described as "serious head trauma".

The victim was transported to SF General Hospital on Potrero, treated in ICU for some time, and is now home recovering. He worked as soon as he was able with a SFPD sketch artist to re-create this detailed likeness of his attacker.

Police want to speak to the man pictured above who they listed as an adult, white male, estimated 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs in around 200 pounds. He has a heavy build, curly brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark jacket, dark pants, and a baseball hat.
