First, tomorrow (Friday) night, it's the opening of their newest exhibit, "In the Moment." According to the official description:
"Photographers were asked to capture the singular, decisive moments in their daily lives with artful, unusual, and inventive interpretations. This includes both the ordinary and quirky scenes that present themselves while traversing the urban landscape immersed in the active moment. The images in this collection feature both people as the subject or simply the impressions they’ve left behind."Tomorrow's opening reception runs from 6pm to 9pm, and will feature DJs, a photobooth, and more. The show will be on display through September 6th. Then on Saturday, you're invited to join them for their latest potluck. Bring some food and mingle with other photo fans as you peruse the aforementioned exhibit, "In the Moment." The potluck is slated to begin at 1pm. Both of these events go down at the Harvey Milk Photo Center at 50 Scott Street, on the western end of Duboce Park. Both are free and open to the public.
