"Sometime today some jerk left their dog inside my gate. I say jerk because there is no way the little thing could get in on its own and the gate is so high someone had to have tossed the dog inside. I'm hoping I'm wrong in my jerk assumption and it's all a tragic missing dog story. He's a little grey and white whippit looking fellow. One tag says his name is Silas but the phone number on the other side is not the owner's. There's another tag for emergency lost and found rescue, but the ID is worn away. The only potentially identifying info is the rabies tag, but their offices were closed tonight."He plans to call Animal Control if no one steps forward with information, so we're turning to you. If you recognize this dog, or have any other useful info, let us know and we'll pass it along. tips [at] haighteration {{dot}} com.
