This Tuesday night, you're invited to join our local police captain and other SFPD officers on a walk around the Lower Haight.
Captain Greg McEachern of SFPD's Northern Station, which includes the Lower Haight from Steiner eastward, will lead the walk. The goal is to let folks in the neighborhood get to know their local police officers and discuss their concerns. On the walk, "we will be able to see problem locations face to face while discussing what we can do to make the community safer and more enjoyable for all," McEachern writes in his most recent newsletter. Tuesday night's walk will begin at 6pm at the eastern end of Duboce Park, near the intersection of Hermann and Steiner. All are welcome to attend.
