Buy This T-Shirt
Neighborhood jingoism aside, there's a damn good reason you should buy this t-shirt.

The reason is this: proceeds from sales of the shirts will go to the residents who were displaced by last month's fire at 373 Haight Street. The shirt is designed by Berkeley-based artist Damian King and printed up by DSF (formerly D-Structure). You can pre-order your shirt via this link, and then pick it up at DSF in a couple weeks. It's available on a pay-what-you-want basis. The shirt costs $5 to make, and anything you want to donate beyond that will go to the displaced residents, distributed by the Lower Haight Merchants and Neighbors Association. We're told that ten residents were forced out of their homes by the fire. Oh, and if you want to skip the shirt and just make a plain old donation, that will be possible soon too. Keep an eye on the website for details. So -- a nice shirt, a good cause, pay what you want... What are you waiting for? Get clickin'.
