How About This New Building?

How About This New Building?
There are plenty of new constructions going up around the neighborhood, but one in particular caught our eye recently.

This building on Ivy between Gough and Octavia certainly stands out from its surroundings. The 3-floor structure is part of the 300 Ivy development that will be opening this fall.
It's covered in cedar shingles -- a stark contrast from the main 300 Ivy building next door.
According to a project summary, this wood-clad structure "creates a distinct visual character and massing suited to the scale of Ivy Street." It consists of 5 3-bedroom townhouses, each with rooftop penthouses, separated from the main building by an interior courtyard.
For now, the building is clearly visible from Hayes Street via the parking lot next to Flippers. That will change by 2015, when another development at 450 Hayes is scheduled to be compeleted. In the meantime, what do you think (if anything) about this distinctive new addition to the neighborhood?
