If you've ever tried to grab a drink or a bite at Two Sisters, you know that getting a table at the popular (and small) bar at 579 Hayes can be a challenge.
Fortunately, they're adding some extra seating -- but not much.
The bar has received approval to set up a table and two chairs on the sidewalk between the hours of 11am and midnight. Owner Mikha Diaz tells us she expects to add the table "in the next week or two" -- she just needs to get some planters assembled. The full food and drink menu will be available outside, as long as you're seated at the table. Sure, Hayes Valley already has an impressive list of options for dining alfresco. But we're not sure there's anywhere else where you can enjoy a cocktail outdoors. Something tells us this could easily become the hardest table to get in the neighborhood.
