Got some bulky household items you no longer need or want? There's a better solution than just leaving them out on the curb.
This morning until noon, bring your items over to Baker Street, between Fell and Oak. There, the city's Gigantic 3 service will be accepting drop-offs of items for reusing, recycling, composting, or trashing. Appointments are recommended (415-330-1300), although given the short notice, you might just want to press your luck and show up without one. They'll take all kinds of junk, like household appliances, mattresses, electronics, scrap metal, yard waste, and more. Check here for the full list.
