From remodels to new menus, there have been a handful of changes in the Hayes Valley food scene of late. Here's what you need to know.

Jardinière closed for two weeks' worth of renovations in August, but it's now back open for business. Changes included "paring back some outdated design elements" to expose the space's oak beams and arched windows, and repainting the ceiling a "dark stout color." The menu remains the same. Chef Adam Hinojosa has returned to head up the kitchen at Noir, a job which he was originally slated to tackle last year. That means a continually changing dinner menu of shared plates and entrees, and a new weekend brunch service. And speaking of brunch, South at SFJAZZ has started serving up a breakfast menu Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 11am. Items on the menu include andouille and potato hash, shrimp and grits, and beignets. Now get out there and eat!
