Reader Brandon C. wrote in yesterday with some woes about this past weekend's Sunday Streets in Western Addition:
Mara S. sent in the photo below of mailboxes outside her building at Divisadero and Golden Gate.
Mara writes: "Our apartment building found this today (our mailboxes outside ripped open in the night)...curious if other folks in the western addition have had this problem lately too?"
Anyone?
Gisella S. tells us that new sidewalk gardens have been installed on the 500 block of Broderick, and the 1300 block of Hayes.
And finally, Michael W. emailed us the following photos from a hit and run this past Friday night at Fillmore and Fell. An impressively awful five cars were damaged in the incident, Michael reports.

"My car was towed yesterday, along with my friend's and a few others she saw, for Sunday streets. Cars were parked on Thursday and at that time there were no signs put up on street indicating no parking for Sunday Streets... When I went to get my car last night the lady at AutoReturn said a bunch of people had come in complaining about the same thing on same streets."Brandon has reached out to both SFMTA and Sunday Streets for an explanation, but so far has not received a response.
