We've covered the new 38 Dolores build extensively since the tear down of its former occupants S&C Ford began and plans for luxury rentals first broke. Plopped atop the new Castro Whole Foods the building is, according to press spin, a monument to green/sustainable architecture, draped in murals by Mona Caron and sports the City's first, one of a kind, butterfly habitat. What we haven't been able to share is any real deets on pricing or floor plans. Curbed SF broke the news yesterday with what they describe as 38 Dolores' 'mind-boggling reveals'. The 81 units up for grabs are divvied up into three collections: Mint (faces Market Street), Palms (faces Dolores Street), and Terrace - which according to the papers provided by 38 Dolores - is nestled under their top of the line eco roof and in close proximity to the aforementioned butterfly habitat. Prospective renters will find one bedrooms start at $2950 and top out at $4595. That's a whooping $1360 dollars over the average asking price of other current Castro one bedroom rentals. Two bedrooms jump off at $3800 and climb the ladder to $5950. The big kahuna of the building, palatial three bedroom units, boast a kingly price tag of - wait for it - $8100. Here are some samples of each categories floor plans. All the buildings unit options are available for perusing here at the buildings official site. Biscuit post with photos of the 38's interiors showing what your hard earned green will buy 'movin' on up' in the Castro is here. Via Curbed SF
