The Castro's 40th annual street fair was a huge success yesterday with warm weather, thousands of attendees, and great live entertainment. Hopefully this translates into a great success for the beneficiaries of the fair donations, too. Official numbers from Castro Street Fair organizers will be coming later and we'll let you know when they are released. There seemed to be a little something for everyone to enjoy at the fair again this year with main stage performing artists like Peaches and The Ethel Merman Experience, drag kings and queens roaming the streets, the usual scruffy shirtless men, carnies from Barnaby's World of Wonderment performing magic tricks, CheerSF building human pyramids, artists showing off their goods, and the list goes on. This year the Biscuit was able to get some great shots of the crowd and the entertainment thanks to Biscuit photog Brian Prazinko. We've chosen some of the best shots for the gallery below, but all the photos can be viewed in our Facebook photo album.
