Lower Haight Weekend Planner
BOO. Don't be scared -- it's just the weekend sneaking up on you like your favorite ghost. Here are a few highlights from the next 60 hours or so.

Tonight, Mad Dog in the Fog (530 Haight) hosts its monthly gay night known as Pink Friday -- and this one will be especially freaky-deaky for Halloween. There will be three DJs, "ghoulish cocktails," drink specials, and free jello shots. Plus they'll be playing "Monster Mash" every hour on the hour, and the atmosphere will be spookified with "dry ice and shit for Halloween!" Costumes encouraged, no cover -- the fun goes from 8pm to 2am. Also tonight, Thriving Life Wellness (557 Waller) is hosting a free Yoga Salon, featuring an intro to yoga therapy. Find out how yoga can help relieve stress and chronic pain, build strength, and improve your overall health and well-being. There will be chai and healthy treats served, and all guests will receive a $20 voucher for their first yoga session. That's 7pm to 8:30pm tonight. Tomorrow night, head to The Mill (736 Divisadero) for something completely different: "a night of delicious burgers." The Mission's Kronner Burger will be popping up at the coffee-and-toast mecca for the second time, after a successful debut in late September. Tomorrow's pop-up is scheduled from 6pm to 10pm. Also tomorrow night, head back to Mad Dog for their annual Halloween Ball. We're talking more drink specials, jello shots, spooky music and the like, and no cover, starting at 9pm. Finally, use the weekend to catch up on any of the new art shows around the neighborhood. There's "Long Way Around" at 4x5 Gallery (442 Haight), "Confluence" at Fifty24SF (218 Fillmore), and an LGBT Family Photo Exhibit at the Harvey Milk Photo Center (50 Scott Street). Know anything else fun going on in the neighborhood this weekend? Let us know in the comments.
