Someone Stole This Corset Sign
A thief with a possible penchant for form-fitting undergarments has made off with this sandwich board belonging to the Dark Garden corset shop on Linden Street.

The sign was accidentally left outside the shop this past Friday night, and by Saturday morning, it was gone. Dark Garden's Marianne Faulkner tells us the sign was relatively new and locally-made, featuring hand-painted black and gold lettering. Rather than have a new one made, Marianne is hoping the original sign will be returned. "Dark Garden has been a Hayes Valley mainstay for over 15 years. We're a really small business (fewer than 20 employees) and the sign was a pretty sizable investment for us," Marianne writes. To that end, Marianne and a co-worker are offering a $200 reward for the sign's return. If you know of its whereabouts, you can reply to this Craigslist ad. Or you can forego the reward and just drop the sign off at Dark Garden, no questions asked. As Marianne notes: "If someone also wanted to anonymously return it simply out of the goodness of their heart it would be much appreciated!"
