Want to Rent Out McCoppin Hub?Facebook/McCoppin Hub
Perhaps you've ventured across Market Street to check out Off the Grid at McCoppin Hub, near where Valencia meets Market. The site, a short dead-end street, will be seeing some major upgrades this winter. But before it does, it will become available to host public events throughout November.

Activate McCoppin is a month-long project seeking to bring new energy to the street before construction begins. Any individual or organization is invited to throw an event at the site. You can choose a morning, afternoon, or evening time slot for your event, and utilize the Hub's existing infrastructure like sound equipment, lighting, power, tables, and chairs.

There are a few rules, though. No alcohol, food, or open flames will be allowed, and all programming must be "family friendly." Also, you're required to clean up any trash from your event. Off the Grid will continue to operate on Tuesday nights during November, and there are a couple of other regular events that will remain. But otherwise, the site is up for grabs.
