Here's That American Express Ad Filmed Around SF
That American Express commercial that was filming in Hayes Valley last month has now been released.

The ad touts what the credit card company has dubbed "Small Business Saturday," a.k.a. the Saturday after Thanksgiving. For some reason they've decided you should support your local mom-and-pop shops on November 30th. (Apparently the other 364 days of the year are meant for shopping at Target and Best Buy and Amazon?) Anyway, the ad starts and ends with sidewalk shots of Hayes Street. In between, it features glimpses of shops all around the area: The Mill on Divisadero, FSC Barber Shop on Valencia, Manifesto Bikes in Oakland, General Store in the Outer Sunset. "The money you spend here stays here, in this place you call your neighborhood," a voiceover actress reassures us without evidence. Here it is:
