Lers Ros Thai at 307 Hayes Street was closed yesterday due to health code violations, but is planning to reopen today.

First reported by SFist yesterday, the restaurant's health license was suspended on Thursday due to a reported "roach infestation." The violation was reported by a diner who told SFist he was "served a soup terrine that had four cockroaches crawling on it." Inside Scoop added that the issue was quickly addressed. The health inspector returned to the restaurant yesterday and didn't spot any violations. Lers Ros was due to get a "pest control steam bath," after which it would be allowed to reopen. This morning, Inside Scoop has an update from the restaurant's chef-owner Tom Silargorn: Lers Ros has “now improved all said conditions... Rest [assured] that this will not happen again.”
