A man in a wheelchair was reportedly struck and killed by a car near the intersection of Market and Octavia overnight.

According to NBC Bay Area, the accident occurred around midnight. When police arrived at the scene, they found a man knocked out of his wheelchair, which had been sent several feet up the onramp to the 101. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.
