The brothers Newbury, owners of Réveille Coffee Company, the new coffee shop we reported is coming to the Castro this Winter, got back to us with some of the questions we asked about the new facility.

The coffee shop will be located in the garage area of the building and feature a patio area in the front covered by a trellis on both sides looking onto 18th Street. The interior design aesthetic will feature light ash woods and clean lines with some additional "cool design details for the bar." The space will feature a long rectangular coffee bar and a similar open kitchen to the North Beach location.
The Food
The two brothers are bringing food options to the new Castro location similar to that of the North Beach location and will be including a dinner menu as well! Their braised kale egg sandwich and homemade biscuits and cookies will be featured on the menu and they are planning on making seasonal flatbreads from scratch during dinner hours.
The Coffee
There will be a standard coffee menu which will consist of espresso drinks and pour over coffee options. The kitchen will be experimenting with more homemade syrups and seasonal coffee milkshakes (Yes... seasonal coffee milkshakes!). Baristas will pulling espresso shots on a three group Linea La Marzocco MP machine, along with a Mahlkonig EK43 grinder and a Fetco for brewed coffee (utter tech speak of a different kind for this humble writer).
The brothers said they are shooting for a January 2014 reveal date.
