You can snag yourself a special piece of laser-etched art and meet Santa this afternoon, right here on Fillmore Street.
Artist Jeremy Fish will be on hand today to unveil his latest creation, a print called "Calitechnifornia." It's a laser-etched, hand-stained design on an 18" x 24" birch panel, depicting the San Francisco skyline beneath a pile of gadgets and tech logos (an iPod, computers, Twitter and Facebook icons, etc). Fish will be signing copies of the work, with just 30 numbered prints available today. A few will be sold online as well. Joining Fish will be Santa Claus. Because why not. This happens today from 1pm to 3pm at Upper Playground, 220 Fillmore Street.
