Twinkle, Twinkle
The HAMA Holiday Lights have been lit, officially signalling that Winter is Coming. We told you about their Fundly page last month, and we're here with an update on progress.

The first round of lights went up last Thursday, lighting four trees between Masonic and Stanyan. Bright and early this morning, they went for a second pass, lighting four additional trees, and adding sunflowers to the ones that were already up. As of this writing, they're at $8360, with only 9 backers, many of which are Haight Street businesses (Whole Foods kicked in $1000). The rest of the money raised will go toward covering the cost of the lights that have been put up, and any additional money over 10K will go toward white lights around the rest of the neighborhood, to fill in the trees between the decorated ones. Have you seen this year's trees? What do you think?
