Bi-Rite is hosting a toy drive for children and families in the local communities surrounding its two locations (the Mission and Western Addition). Bring your new, unwrapped toys, books, sports equipment and art supplies to Bi-Rite on Divisadero, and drop them in the toy barrel at the entrance. All donations will go to the Western Addition Beacon Center. The only catch is: the toy drive at the Divis location ends tonight at 9pm. So tell your boss you're leaving work early today, and get yourself to a toy store. Do it for the kids -- and spread the word.
