From the signs of construction and inventory move-in, it looks like the Burton snowboard shop is almost ready to open at 1630 Haight.
The space, formerly a snowboard shop owned by FTC owner Kent Uyehara, will re-open as Burton snowboards. The past month has seen a full remodel of the space, and as of this morning pallets of merchandise were being wheeled through the front doors. We spoke with contractors on-site today, who told us they didn't have any solid information about when the store was to open. In the meantime, FTC is having a 50% off sale on boarding gear today and tomorrow.
