Contestants Sought For Chicken Wing Eating Contest

Wing Wings is looking for a few hungry folks to battle for chicken wing eating supremacy.

It's the 2nd annual Wing Wings Chicken Wing Eating Contest, going down this Saturday afternoon at El Rio (3158 Mission). The event will crown two victors: the person who can eat the most chicken wings in 10 minutes, and the one who can eat 10 "hella hot wings" the fastest. Contestants can enter either event by emailing info [at] wingwings {{dot}} com with your:

• Name
• Height/Weight
• Eating competition nickname (be creative!)
• Timed or hella hot event (choose one)
• Previous eating competition experience
• Why do you think you can win(g)??
• Theme Song

The deadline for entering is today, so get cluckin'. Along with the wing orgy, there will be a raffle of prizes to benefit Casa De Los Madres, a local organization that gives support to domestic violence victims. If you're a local business and want to donate an item, gift bag, service, gift certificate, go ahead and contact Wing Wings at the email address above ASAP. Finally, if you're too chicken to compete, you're still invited to watch this orange-mouthed spectacle and enjoy tunes by DJ Doc Fu and DJ Pause, drink specials, and more.
