Old Industrialists location gets slight facelift, fence down2201 Market Street

The old Industrialists location (2201 Market Street) at the corner of Market and Sanchez received a bit of a facelift over the past week. Many neighbors will be happy to know that the unsightliness of the building has been cleaned up a bit. Holes were patched, new paint covers the exterior, and the chain-link fencing surrounding the parking area was taken down. We spoke with one of the workers and they weren't able to tell us much other than that the chain-link fencing wouldn't be going back up. When asked about the structural integrity of the overhang and if they were making any repairs to the rotting supports, the worker said he was not sure about the structure and that they weren't there to make the repairs. The "For Lease" sign is still up so there is no indication the facelift was made by a new tenant. via Castro Biscuit Forums
