In
our first open thread on the Castro Biscuit, a commenter suggested we host a meetup for readers. I'm excited to announce that we will be hosting our first reader meetup next month, Thursday, January 23rd, at 6:30PM over at Cafe Flore. The folks at Cafe Flore have happily agreed to offer us the space. I estimated about 10-20 people attending. If more attend, that's great!
The reader meetup will be an opportunity for all of us to meet each other and talk about the blog and the Castro. We've never hosted anything like this so if our readers have any ideas about what we should do during the meetup or topics of discussion they'd like to engage in let us know in the comments below or in the
discussion forum.
We will have Castro Biscuit pins available for folks to grab and Cafe Flore will be serving up cocktails, beers, teas and coffees so consider stopping in, getting a drink, grabbing a pin, saying hello to other readers and the Castro Biscuit staff (Roy and Waiyde).
