You've got about 48 hours to get your fill of sandwiches, salads, and gigantic breakfasts at The Grind, as the restaurant plans to close this week for renovations.
As we detailed back in August, The Grind will be getting some long-planned upgrades, like new tiles and counters. Additionally, some features like the food prep and dishwashing areas will be moved next door, to the space at 791 Haight that was formerly home to P-Kok. The renovations are expected to take about a month; the Grind will be closed from Christmas Eve until some time in late January.
