If you're reading this and you live near Sanchez between Market and 18th you might not be on your computer at home. Power is out along the 2200 block of Market Street all the way down to 18th Street some are reporting. Power has been out since about 1:30 this morning. The hair stylist at Shag Salon on Sanchez told us they heard a 2:30pm deadline for power back on. Peet's on Market said they had been told 7am and that has come and gone. PG&E also told Pesce Seafood Bar no later than 2 or 3pm. Peet's said they will probably lose about $6000 in receipts and perishable goods if PG&E can't get power on sooner than 2:30pm. Be extra cautious if your driving or walking near the intersection of Noe, 16th, and Market. Traffic lights are out there as well.
