The weather outside may be frightful, but fortunately you won't have to travel far to enjoy SF Beer Week. From tap takeovers to boozy brunches, here's the lineup of special events in the neighborhood over the next week or so.

Saturday, February 8 (today): Noc Noc (557 Haight) - Sour Saturday Flights. The name says it all. Featured beers include PERTs Aged Pale Ale, New Belgium Lips of Faith, and Grand Teton Oud Bruin. 10am - midnight. Mad Dog In The Fog (530 Haight) - Hops and Scoops, a pairing of ice cream from The Ice Cream Bar in Cole Valley with Coronado Idiot IPA from Coronado Brewing. Juliette Pries from Ice Cream Bar and Gordon Brown from Coronado will be on hand to share their secrets. 1pm - 8pm. Toronado (547 Haight) - Meet the Owner of Firestone Walker - David Walker will be on hand for a meet-and-greet and a tapping of a very special mystery keg. 2:30pm - 4pm. Sunday, February 9: Memphis Minnie's (576 Haight) - Speakeasy Hangover Brunch. A morning of beer-infused brunch items. Fried chicken with flapjacks, low country shrimp and grits, and house-smoked salmon benedict with sweet potato hash browns, all with Speakeasy brews worked into their sauces and syrups. (There are virgin options too.) 9am - 3pm, or whenever the food/beer runs out. Noc Noc - Strong Beer Tap TakeDown - Strong ales like Stone Double Bastard, Anchor Old Foghorn, and Bear Republic Racer X. 10am - 2am. Mad Dog - Sunday with Sierra - Reps from Sierra Nevada will be on hand with beers like Ovila Quad, the Red Imperial, and the Ruthless Rye. Plus, beer-marinated chicken tacos. 1pm - 2am. Monday, February 10: Noc Noc - 120 Minutes of Dogfish Head - Flights of special releases and tapping of 2012 kegs from the Delaware brewery. Featured labels include 120 Minute IPA, Miles Davis Bitches Brew, and Namaste. 11:30am - 6pm. Noc Noc - Speakeasy / Stone Flights - Beer from SF's own Speakeasy and San Diego's Stone Brewing. 9pm - 2am. Tuesday, February 11: Noc Noc - Lips of Faith Takeover. New Belgium's craft beer line Lips of Faith will be the star here, with flights of four different varieties. 11:30am - 2am. Mad Dog - A Taste of SoCal, a tap takeover featuring a selection of brews from Southern California, including Ballast Point, Green Flash, and Coronado. 12pm - 2am. The Page (298 Divisadero) - Anchor Brewing Zymaster Tasting - Seven Anchor taps will be flowing, including five Zymaster beers. Plus music, food, and a meet-and-greet with the brewers. 5pm - 8pm. Vinyl (359 Divisadero) - Sudwerk Brewery Takeover & Beer Trivia. Enjoy Cascaderade India Pale Lager and Pilsner on draught, lots of other varieties by the bottle, trivia with plenty of prizes up for grabs, and Sneaky's BBQ. 6pm - 11:30pm. Toronado - Russian River "Tion" Night - Russian River beers ending in "tion" (the exact lineup is still being worked out.) 6pm - 2am. Wednesday, February 12: Noc Noc - Golden Road Beer Festival, featuring flights from L.A.'s Golden Road Brewery. 2pm - 10pm. The Page - Magnolia Brewer Happy Hour & Tapping - a meet-and-greet with the brewer, and a tapping of the not-yet-released Promised Land Imperial IPA. 5pm - 7pm. Vinyl - Oskar Blues Brews & BBQ - Sneaky's BBQ will be infusing Oskar Blues beers into its menu, and the full line-up of Oskar Blues beers and sauces will be available. 6pm - 11:30pm. Thursday, February 13: Mad Dog - A Night with the Geese - beers from Goose Island, plus Chicago-style hot dogs which will actually be flown in from Chicago. 12pm - 2am. Noc Noc - Lagunitas Shugga Investigation. A sampling of Lagunitas beers including Lagunitas Sucks, San Francisco Fusion, Brown Shugga, and Undercover Investigation Shut-down. 2pm - 2am. Friday, February 14: Noc Noc - Portland Maine Brewery Night - a flight of beers from Portland breweries including Allagash and Peak Organic. 1pm - 2am. Mad Dog - F*%#k Cupid: A Tap Takeover Story - New released from Pyramid, plus sweet treats to nibble on. 6pm - 2am. Saturday, February 15: Noc Noc - It's Time for Barleywine! Five different varieties of barley wine from Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, Napa Smith and more. 10am - 2am. Toronado - Barleywine Festival. The 21st annual event starts around 11:30am and lasts through the following week until all the kegs are empty. Molotov's (582 Haight) - Sierra Nevada Day. It's a tap takeover with brews like Torpedo IPA, Kellerweiss, and French Saison being poured from 12pm to 2am. Mad Dog - Hops in the Fog - Anchor releases its brand new IPA, plus flights of Spring Bock, OBA, and Steam and Lager. 1pm - 8pm. Sunday, February 16: Toronado - Barleyiwine Festival, continued. 11:30am - 2am.
