First, Hoodlab gallery is opening the Alexander Mijares show this evening from 6 to 10 PM, scheduled to be in place until March 1. To be found at 1669 Haight. Then, Second Act is hosting The Heather & Ben Show Saturday evening from 7 to 9, an acoustic blues and folk duo that perform a range of requests. Tickets are $5 ahead of time or at the door. Second Act will also be hosting a School of Rock fundraiser with tenant Community Craft bakery Saturday at 3 PM. This is a kid-friendly, kid-oriented event. February is also Magnolia's Strong Beer Month, which also means that SF Beer Week is kicking off today. Check out the schedule here.
