A couple of local restaurants have just gotten the green light to add beer and wine to their menus.
When we first met Greenburger's three years ago, we were told they would be seeking a beer and wine license once the restaurant hit its groove. That time is now, as the restaurant received its beer and wine license in the mail yesterday.
They haven't decided exactly what new beverages they'll be offering yet -- stay tuned. Meanwhile, Chaparral -- or, more accurately, Kate's Kitchen -- also received its beer and wine license recently.
They're having wine taps installed this week, and are expecting to begin pouring with next week's dinner service.
