Just under five months since it debuted at Kate's Kitchen, pop-up dinner restaurant Chaparral has served its last meal at the location.

The news was announced a few days ago on Chaparral's Facebook page:

Chaparral will no longer be open! Sorry to say but a long term agreement could not be met. Chaparral will be looking for a new space for the future. Thanks to all our staff, family, guests and friends for your support. Thanks Kate's Kitchen for being a great venue!"

Eater notes that chef Thomas Martinez hosted a taco pop-up at Virgil's Sea Room on Friday night, but otherwise there's no word yet on any future plans.  We've reached out to Martinez for more details, and will update accordingly.
