We noticed there was scaffolding placed around Harvey's Restaurant (500 Castro Street) and we wondered what was up. We reached out to Harvey's General Manager Steve Porter who told us that the scaffolding was up for the rehab of the exterior of the building. The restaurant has some architectural elements and molding to repair and will be pouring on a new coat of paint when repairs are finished. The color will be near the same with a duo-tone terra cotta finish. The restaurant and adjacent businesses Puff 'n Stuff and Escape from New York Pizza are open during the rehab. Everything is planned to wrap up around the end of April. Nothing else to see here. Move along, move along... move along, move along...
