If you didn't decide to gallop around downtown on a Leprecon pub crawl yesterday, you might still be up, walking, and ready for some local festivities a la mode. And no, we don't mean green beer.

In the interest of keeping your St. Patrick's Day weekend easy and delightful, we did the homework for you. Here's what's going on in the neighborhood, bar-wise:

Martin Macks: Obviously the likeliest first stop of the day, Martin Macks will be serving up Guinness (of course) with corned beef and cabbage, and they'll be hosting live Irish music all weekend, through the 17th.

Trax: Trax ("Who's Your Paddy?") will be serving up $4 Guinness pints and $4 Jameson shots on Monday the 17th, and dishing out corned beef sandwiches at 5pm.

Magnolia: For the more grown-up of your St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Magnolia isn't hosting any menu specials, we hear, but it's hard to go wrong at this beer mecca if you're feeling pubby.

The Gold Cane and Hobson's Choice will of course be fully stocked with Guinness and Irish whiskey: they will not, however, be hosting any drink specials. And don't forget about Murio's, either.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Upper Haighters!
