We Have An App Now
Remember last week, how we told you we were planning to improve and expand our neighborhood news coverage by building something new? Well, here it is.

It's called Hoodline. As in, hood plus headline. Hoodline. And it's launching today. It's a single app containing stories from our three neighborhood blogs (Haighteration, Hayeswire, and Uppercasing), plus some new areas. As a reader, you can select just the neighborhoods that interest you, or see stories from our entire coverage area, all in one news feed. The Hoodline app keeps track of your reading history for you, so you can hide all stories you've already read, if you want. You can also leave comments, submit tips, and share stories, all from within the app. One other big feature: if you sign up for a free Hoodline account within the app, we can send you push notifications when new stories are posted in your favorite neighborhoods. Or we can send you email digests every week, every day, or every time news breaks. SO! If you have an iPhone, go ahead and download Hoodline here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/hoodline/id814699998 Give it a try and let us know what you think -- feedback [at] hoodline {{dot}} com. And if you don't have an iPhone, don't worry -- we'll be launching a new website too (hoodline.com) in just a few days. Stay tuned for that. Thanks for reading, as always!
