This Saturday the 26th at 9am, come out to meet your neighbors, get dirty, and do some good.
A hefty coalition made up of friends of Buena Vista Park, Buena Vista Neighborhood Association, Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association, Friends of Duboce Park, Larkin Street Youth, Recreation & Park Department, Dept. of Public Works, and the SF Police Department are sponsoring a Spring Clean Up and Earth Day Celebration for Buena Vista Park.
On the agenda: some general park sprucing-up, plus an erosion control project.
If you're looking to participate, BYO gloves and pruners (though if you don't have pruners, they say there will be some available), and be sure to wear long sleeves and sturdy shoes.
The meeting place is the children's playground at Waller & Buena Vista West, and the event goes until 1pm. You can drop in any time after 9am and check in with the table they'll have set up to meet and greet everybody.
If you want to get involved, RSVP to recparkvolunteers[at]sfgov[dot]org. We'll see you there!
