Two Local Events To Help Fight AIDS This WeekDining Out For Life
Two AIDS-related benefits will have you doing some good without leaving the 'hood this week.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) night, it's the annual Dining Out For Life, in which restaurants around the city pledge to give at least 25% of their sales to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  Participating local restaurants include Maven, Memphis Minnie's, and Uva Enoteca (and, up the hill, Magnolia).

Then on Friday, from 6pm to 10pm, head to Mad Dog in the Fog for its annual AIDS/LifeCycle Fundraiser.  Bartender Jordan Smith is looking to raise $5,000 for this year's ride, and he's going all out with a $10 beer bust, a raffle of great local prizes (including front row Giants tickets), and more.  Proceeds from the LifeCycle benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center.

Unless you don't like to eat, drink, support local businesses, or fight AIDS, you really have no excuse not to partake in at least one of these events.  So get on out there, and spread the word.
