Like bikes? Like ice cream? Tonight, Bi-Rite is right up your alley.
In case you missed it, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition has been celebrating “Bike Month” for the month of May in honor of the 20th anniversary of Bike to Work Day . They’ve organized over 75 events since the beginning of the month and will continue to do so through next week.

In honor of the occasion, Bi-Rite approached the SF Bike Coalition with the idea to collect donations for their organization at the Divisadero Creamery, not unlike the way they raised money for SF Baykeeper in honor of Earth Month back in April.

If you find your sweet tooth throbbing for some tasty goodness and you wish to support better biking in San Francisco, head on over to Bi-Rite Creamery on Divis. SF Bike Coalition staff members Tracy Chinn and Tyler Frisbee will be rolling up their sleeves and scooping out ice cream from 5pm to 7pm tonight (Wednesday, May 28th).

Although they’re not sure how much they’ve raised so far, SF Bike Coalition communications director Kristen Smith is optimistic and grateful to have been approached by Bi-Rite. In fact, the same program benefitting SF Bay Keeper raised $1,480 last month.
