Got plans this afternoon? Well you do now: it's the return of the Lower Haight Art Walk.
Shops and restaurants in the neighborhood will be featuring a number of special art openings, music, and discounts. It's a daytime affair this time, scheduled to run from 2pm to 7pm, but some events will spill into the evening hours.
Some highlights include:
- The official grand opening of the Cool Beans pop-up at the former Greenburger's space
- A friends and family art show, plus the debut of a new sauce, at Wing Wings
- A sidewalk sale at Life, plus artwork by Romanowski
- Live painting, belly dancing, and DJs at P-Kok
- The opening of an art show by Keith Rein, with free drinks and DJs, from 7pm to 11pm at DSF
- An art show by Edo stylist Heather Dean, plus music and drinks, from 7pm to 10pm at Edo Salon
- An art walk party with DJs, jello shots, and no cover at Mad Dog in the Fog
- $2 absinthe popsicles at Maven
- 10% off all used records at Groove Merchant
- 15% off all purchases at ZeroFriends
- $100 get-what-you-get tattoos at Idle Hand
