
San Francisco's own Almanac Beer Company is throwing a serious tap takeover at Toronado tonight.
To celebrate the company's third birthday, the Almanac folks will be pouring "just about every beer we've ever made," in their words, starting at 6pm tonight.
That means more than 20 different kegs of IPAs, sours, saisons, seasonal beers incorporating produce like pumpkin, strawberry and citrus, and more.
Speaking of seasonal fruit, also on hand at tonight's event will be Three Babes Bakeshop, the local pie purveyors that make regular appearances at the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market. They'll be serving up baked goods which, Almanac teases, may or may not be infused with beer.
This is the second event in a big week for Toronado, which hosted its own anniversary party (its 27th) just this past Saturday. Judging by the crowd that was lined up down the block more than an hour and a half early, it appears that the bar is doing just fine after all these years:
