A roundup mid-week, you say? Yes, it's true: there really are enough little bits of news to bring you a hump day roundup, and we've got what you need to start planning for the weekend early.
- Tonight, get excited for this weekend's massive festival with an Outside Lands photography show at San Franpsycho, featuring work by Paige K. Parsons and Lance Skundrich. The show runs from 6pm-8pm tonight, and they'll also be live printing posters of last year's design collaboration with the festival.
- Looking for some extra cash and farmers market goodies? Take this survey about the Divisadero Farmers Market to help them decide what to host on Sundays, and be entered in the running for $50 and a basket of locally sourced goodies.
- People who have or take care of young people, mark your calendars for August 23rd. That's when a block party hosted by NOPNA will be happening on Lyon Street between Hayes and Grove. Set to run from 10am -6pm, it will include a bouncy castle, face painting, and live music. More on this soon!
- Swing by Mini Bar for a cocktail and check out their new group show, featuring work by Johnny Akihito Noda, Mark Hamer, Janette Lopez, and a "wall of cheesus" (yes, really) by artist Beth Allen. The show will be up until September 22nd.
- This Friday, St. Cyprian's is hosting a night of music and revelry, featuring Susie Glaze & The Hilonesome Band and Houston Jones. Tickets are $20 in advance, and more details can be found here.
- Want to ride your bike to Outside Lands this weekend, but want music and a crowd of happy people to escort you? Tag along with San Francisco Bike Party on their morning rides Friday - Sunday. Catch the ride at 11:50am Friday, Saturday or Sunday at the intersection of Haight and Ashbury, or start out from various other stops.
Enjoy the rest of your week, folks! And remember to stay warm and dry: August is upon us.
