This afternoon, in support of the tour for their third album Atlas, the East Coast-based Real Estate will be dropping in for a free show at Amoeba.
The show is scheduled for 1 pm, and it's a stop along the way for Real Estate before their Fillmore show later this evening (tickets are still available).
The Amoeba show offers free entry, and people who buy the album at Amoeba will get a bonus limited edition 7" of "Had to Hear," a single off the album (official video above).
Atlas, the band's third full-length album in five years, released back in March to warm reviews, like this one in Pitchfork.
Technically a moderation in style from the band's previous two albums, Atlas maintains their drifty, dreamy, indie pop, skip-work-and-go-to-the-beach sound, and is certainly, we think, worth skipping out of work early to come catch a glimpse of. It is Friday, after all.
