Upper Haight Restaurant Roundup: Your Christmas Survival GuidePhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline
With just two days left until the 25th, you might be entertaining idyllic plans of a Christmas Day lunch out in the 'hood. Sorry to say, you'll want to make other plans.

In keeping with San Francisco's general ghost-town transformation on Christmas, almost all of the restaurants we surveyed in the Haight are closed December 25th, so remember to stock that fridge.

But take heart: there are still several dining options on Christmas Eve. As follows:

Magnolia, at 1398 Haight: open December 24th until 5 pm.

People's Café at 1419 Haight: open December 24th and, supposedly, open Christmas Day.

Martin Macks, at 1568 Haight: open December 24th.

Sparrow Bar and Kitchen, at 1640 Haight: open for lunch on December 24th.

The Alembic, at 1725 Haight: closed December 24th and 25th.

Escape from New York Pizza at 1737 Haight: closed December 24th and 25th.

Ploy II, at 1770 Haight: will be closed both days (and for the surrounding week).

Citrus Club, at 1790 Haight: closed December 24th and 25th.

Cha Cha Cha, at 1801 Haight: open December 24th for lunch.

Parada 22, at 1805 Haight: open December 24th.

Eat well, drink up and enjoy, kids. We'll see you out there.
