
Last night at around 7pm, firefighters responded to a one-alarm fire at 115 Lawton St. in the Inner Sunset. A San Francisco Fire Department spokesperson told Hoodline the fire was under control by 8:15pm and said that the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

No injuries were reported at the scene. According to the SFFD, no one was inside the home at the time of the fire, but early information suggests that the fire began in the kitchen. Significant structural damage was visible from the street this morning; in addition to smoke and water damage, the building’s roof was gutted. No word yet on whether the adjoining buildings were impacted.
In all, 10 units responded to the fire, including three engines, two trucks, a rescue squad and an ambulance.
